The Before Columbus Foundation is pleased
to announce that Digging: The Afro-American Soul of
American Classical Music by Amiri Baraka has been
selected as a winner of the thirty-first annual American
Book Awards for 2010.
The award will be presented at a ceremony and
reception on Sunday, September 19th from 1-4 p.m.
at the Koret Auditorium, San Francisco Main Library,
100 Larkin Street (at Grove), San Francisco, CA.
